The Countdown to the Yorkshire Dales Rally is on!

With just over four months to go, excitement is growing for the inaugural Swift Signs & Shirts Yorkshire Dales Rally, taking place on 29 March 2026.

Our volunteer organisers have been putting in an enormous amount of effort behind the scenes to build an event that reflects the spirit of the Dales and welcomes competitors, marshals and spectators to something special. As we move into the final few months of preparation, the team are focusing on creating a well run and enjoyable rally that showcases the Yorkshire Dales at its best.

We are hugely grateful to Kevin Procter and Swift Signs for their backing. Their support has given us the foundation to bring this event to life, and the whole team appreciates the commitment they have shown to helping Northallerton Auto Club establish the Yorkshire Dales Rally.

A comprehensive Rally Guide will be published shortly, to include the latest information for competitors and volunteers, including key timings, service details and essential instructions for the run up to the event. Please look out for its release.

The Yorkshire Dales Rally will be a closed-road tarmac event held on a series of competitive special stages across the stunning Dales landscape. Competitors will take on multiple timed stages throughout the day, with road sections linking the competitive mileage. The event will feature a town centre start in the historic market town of Leyburn, a central service area, and accessible spectator points.

Expect to see spectator information early in 2026, setting out the viewing areas, ticket details and helpful travel guidance to make it easy for visitors to enjoy a great day in the Dales.

We are pleased to confirm that Dave Brodie will be the Chief Marshal for the event. Dave will be coordinating all marshals and radio crews, and we are already receiving early expressions of interest from people keen to support the rally in its first year.

Marshal registration will be handled through Rally Stage Team once their portal opens. As soon as it goes live, we will share the link on our social channels and the club website so volunteers can sign up easily.
