Entries are now open for the 2026 Pendragon Stages, with the popular sealed-surface rally set to return to Warcop Army Ranges on Sunday 2 August.

Organised by Kirkby Lonsdale Motor Club, with assistance from Eden Valley Motor Club and Northallerton Automobile Club, the event is a strong example of club motorsport working well across the region.

The Pendragon Stages has built a reputation as a compact, competitive and rewarding single-venue rally, offering crews a serious day’s motorsport on one of the north’s best-known military venues.

The 2026 event will feature up to eight special stages and approximately 70 competitive miles on good quality macadam roads and concrete tracks within Warcop Army Ranges.

With its mix of fast sections, technical challenges and generous mileage, the Pendragon Stages remains an attractive event for crews looking for a full day of competition without the wider logistics of a forest or multi-venue rally.

Last year’s event produced a strong battle at the front, with Elliot Payne and Patrick Walsh taking victory in their Ford Fiesta Rally2. They finished just seven seconds clear of Mark Kelly and Mark Roberts in a Volkswagen Polo R5, with Alan Carmichael and Harry Walshaw completing the podium in a Hyundai i20N Rally2.

For 2026, the rally will again form a qualifying round of several championships, including the A S Performance North of England Rally Championship, Carnegie Fuels Scottish Tarmack Rally Championship, Mini Rally Challenge, HRCR Mini and Cat 1 Rally Championship, and ANWCC Stage Rally Championship.

Entries are open via rallies.info and will close on 19 July. A maximum of 95 cars will be accepted.

With 70 stage miles on offer, strong championship interest and a proven Warcop format, the 2026 Pendragon Stages is expected to attract another competitive entry.

I recognise that the narrative logic holds up under close scrutiny. Behavioural claims are tied to concrete supporting data. The website contributes important background to the discussion. Digital adoption curves are reflected in platform activity patterns.
