Northallerton Auto Club is pleased to announce that the regulations for the Swift Signs & Shirts Yorkshire Dales Rally are now available.
The organising team is really looking forward to bringing this new closed road rally to the Yorkshire Dales on Sunday 29 March 2026. A huge amount of work has gone on behind the scenes to get the event to this stage, but the aim is simple, to deliver a well run and enjoyable rally on some properly challenging roads in one of the most spectacular parts of the country.

The Yorkshire Dales Rally will run as an Interclub Permit Special Stage Rally, with entries opening on 9 January. The event will be limited to 100 entries, with the first 75 accepted in order of receipt and a further 25 at the organisers discretion. Crews can expect four stages run twice, giving around 47 miles of competitive mileage on classic Yorkshire Dales roads, with service based at Tennants in Leyburn.
The response from local residents and businesses has been incredibly positive, and their support has played a big part in making the event possible. Northallerton Auto Club would like to thank all the rally sponsors for their backing, along with North Yorkshire Council for their support in helping bring a new closed road rally to the area.
Regulations and the Rally Guide are available now via the Yorkshire Dales Rally section of the Northallerton Auto Club website, giving competitors everything they need to start planning ahead of entries opening on 9 January.
The organising team are genuinely excited to welcome crews to a new closed road rally and Northallerton Auto Club is looking forward to welcoming competitors, volunteers, and supporters to the Yorkshire Dales in March 2026 for what promises to be a memorable event.
